Richmond Stables offers a wide range of equestrian activities in our large 90m x 32m all-weather arena. Clients can enjoy show jumping, dressage, long reining, lunging and general schooling, all in a safe and versatile environment.

At Richmond Stables, we offer excellent on-site facilities for riders of all levels, including a dedicated 750-metre riding track within the stables. This on-site track is perfect not only for schooling and regular exercise, but also for warming up before training and cooling down afterwards, helping both horse and rider prepare and recover safely.

After a training session in our all-weather arena, there's nothing better than a calm, relaxing cool-down ride in Richmond Park. Gentle hacks across the open grasslands and shaded woodland paths help horses unwind, stretch their muscles, and return to a relaxed rhythm. The peaceful surroundings provide the perfect environment to gradually lower heart rates and reinforce positive, enjoyable experiences for both horse and rider.
Cooling down in Richmond Park also allows riders to enjoy the unique charm of this iconic green space. With roaming deer, quiet bridleways, and expansive views, every ride becomes a moment of connection with nature. Whether it's a short, restorative walk or a slow, leisurely trot, these post-training hacks are an essential part of maintaining your horse’s fitness, wellbeing and confidence.
